Message	a plastic scraper edge (or flat screwdriver blade with tape) to push the nut screwdriver slot in counter clock wise direction. As needed, tap the scraper or blade lightly with a rubber mallet or similar. Just enough to get it to start turning. Done it a few times this way on various cars over the years.
